<p>Gubbio hat seit jeher eine enge Beziehung zu der faszinierenden Welt der Dinosaurier: die <a>Gola del Bottacione</a>, eine tiefe Schlucht mit senkrechten Wänden zwischen dem Monte Ingino und dem Monte Foce ist auch bekannt unter dem Namen "Archiv der Erde", wegen der verschiedenen Fossilien, die man in den Felsen findet. Dieser wichtige geologische Standort hat zu der Theorie über die Ursachen des Aussterbens der Dinosaurier beigetragen.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>Auch dieses Jahr stehen in Gubbio wieder die Dinosaurier mit zwei Ausstellungen im Mittelpunkt, &nbsp;"<strong>Extinction</strong>"&nbsp;und&nbsp; "<strong>Godzilland: von der vergessenenWelt bis Jurassik Park</strong>", die bis zum 1.</p>Oktober in den Räumen des ehemaligen Klosters San Benedetto besichtigt werden können. <p></p> <p>"Extinction" ist der wissenschaftliche Teil des Projekts und beschreibt die verschiedenen Theorien über die verschiedenen Episoden des Massenaussterbens in der Geschichte des Planeten, während „Godzilland" eine Reise durch Literatur, Comics, Kino, Fernsehen, bildende Kunst und Musik darstellt und eine außergewöhnliche Auswahl an Ausstellungsstücken aus privaten Sammlungen und Museen bietet, darunter Plakate, Fotos, Filmvorführungen, Spielzeug und vieles mehr.</p> <p>Die Ausstellungen werden durch ein abwechslungsreiches Rahmenprogramm mit Workshops, Vorträgen und Führungen abgerundet.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Öffnungszeiten</strong></p> <p>Freitag: 14:30 - 19:00 Uhr*</p> <p>Samstags, Sonn- und Feiertags: durchgehend von 10:00 - 19:00 Uhr*</p> <p>Am 1.
