<p>Da Montefalco ad Assisi e ritorno, in sella a biciclette d'altri tempi, in un viaggio alla scoperta dei luoghi di San Francesco d'Assisi: è "<strong>Francesco nei Sentieri</strong>", la cicloturistica d'epoca in calendario il 16 e il 17 settembre.</p><p></p> <br> <p>Un percorso tra sport, ambiente e cultura partendo dalla "Ringhiera dell'Umbria", la città del Sagrantino, per raggiungere Torre del Lago, Cannara con Pian d'Arca (dove San Francesco fece la sua "predica agli uccelli") e Spello, proseguendo poi lungo le pendici del Monte Subasio, dominando la valle fino alla Città Serafica e tornare, infine, a Montefalco, dopo una sosta a Petrignano d'Assisi e a Bevagna.</p> <p>Per i ciclisti meno allenati sarà possibile partecipare percorrendo un itinerario differente e meno faticoso, risalendo a Montefalco, passando per le frazioni di San Luca e Turrita, così da coprire una distanza inferiore.</p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.francesconeisentieri.eu/">http://www.francesconeisentieri.eu/</a></p> <br> <p>“Francis along the paths”, the vintage cycling event on schedule on the 16th and 17th September, is a journey from Montefalco to Assisi and return to discover St. Francis of Assisi places through bikes of other times.</p>&nbsp; <p></p> <br> <p>It’s an itinerary among sport, environment and culture starting from the “Umbria railing”, the town of Sagrantino, to reach Torre del Lago, Cannara con Pian d’Arca (where St. Francis pronounced his preach to birds) and Spello, then going on along the Subasio Mountain slopes dominating the valley until the Seraphic Town and at the end returning to Montefalco, after a break in Petrignano d’Assisi and Bevagna.</p> <p>For the less trained cyclists it will be possible to take part by following a different and less tiring itinerary, ascending again to Montefalco, passing through the hamlets of St. Luca and Turrita, so to cover a shorter distance.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>For further information:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.francesconeisentieri.eu/">http://www.francesconeisentieri.eu/</a></p> <br>
