<p>Ogni anno Monteleone di Spoleto, a dicembre, festeggia il proprio patrono con il rituale del "Farro di San Nicola" e la "<strong>Mostra Mercato del Farro DOP e dei prodotti tipici della montagna</strong>". Secondo la tradizione il Santo, passando per Monteleone e colpito dalla miseria dei suoi abitanti, avrebbe donato il farro ai poveri del paese.</p>Ancora oggi, in occasione della ricorrenza, il gesto simbolico si ripete con la distribuzione del Farro Benedetto a tutta la popolazione. <p></p> <br> <p>Per questa primavera, lo splendido borgo umbro ha organizzato un'edizione speciale della mostra per festeggiare il tempo della semina del Farro Dop.</p> <p>Il 16 e il 17 aprile, oltre alla tradizionale esposizione di prodotti tipici, il centro storico di Monteleone fa da cornice a tutta una serie di iniziative collaterali: laboratori di cucina, spettacoli, musica e concerti, ma anche visite guidate e trekking urbano.</p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni:</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/FarroSanNicola/">https://www.facebook.com/pg/FarroSanNicola/</a></p> <br> <p>Each year Monteleone di Spoleto, in December, celebrates its own patron saint with the "St. Nicola's Spelt" and the "<strong>Market Exhibition of PDO Spelt and of typical mountain products</strong>". According to the tradition the Saint, by passing through Monteleone and hit by the misery of its inhabitants, gave the spelt to the village's poor people.</p>Still today, on the occasion of the festivity, the symbolic gesture is repeated with the distribution of the blessed spelt to the whole population.&nbsp; <p></p> <br> <p>For this spring, the fascinating Umbrian village organized a special edition of the exhibition to celebrate the time of PDO Spelt's sowing.</p> <p>On the 16^th and 17^th April, beyond the traditional exhibition of typical products, the historical centre of Monteleone provides the setting for a whole range of side initiatives: cooking workshops, shows, music and concerts, but also guided visits and urban trekking.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>For further information:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/FarroSanNicola/">https://www.facebook.com/pg/FarroSanNicola/</a></p> <br>
