<p>On 14^th February, all the world is going to celebrate Love, in the day devoted to <strong>St. Valentine</strong>, the protector of all lovers.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>In Umbria celebrations are particularly felt: maybe not everyone is aware of the fact that the Saint was born in Terni and his remains are presently preserved inside the cathedral located just outside the town's historical center.</p><p></p> <p>Among the many legends surrounding his figure, the most famous one is for sure the one linked to the legionnaire Sabino and the beautiful Serapy, a couple of young lovers united in marriage by the bishop Valentine against every obstacle and difficulty, establishing in that way his role as lovers' Protector.&nbsp;</p> <p>As every year February is the love's month in Terni, thanks to the several initiatives in honour of the town's patron saint.&nbsp;</p> <p>The recurring appointments include: the "<strong>Feast of the Promise</strong>" for all engaged couples who are getting married in 2017 (on th 12^th February), the ceremonies for the 25^th and 50^th wedding anniversaries (respectively on the 19^th and 26^th February), the unmissable<strong> St. Valentine's Marathon</strong> (on the 19^th February) and the long-awaited "<strong>Cioccolentino</strong>"(from the 10^th to the 14^th February).&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>For the complete schedule, click <a href="/documents/20126/458432/documento212/1a968b63-48de-fd2b-a197-e9cb36c16319">here</a>.</p> <p><strong>For further information:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.marmore.it/">http://www.marmore.it/</a></p> <br> <p>Il 14 febbraio tutto il mondo celebra l'Amore, nella giornata dedicata a <strong>San Valentino</strong>, protettore di tutti gli innamorati.</p> <br> <p>In Umbria i festeggiamenti sono particolarmente sentiti: forse non tutti sanno che è stata Terni a dare i natali al Santo, le cui spoglie sono attualmente conservate all'interno della basilica poco fuori il centro storico.</p><p></p> <p>Tra le tante leggende che circondano la sua figura, la più famosa è certamente quella legata al legionario Sabino e la bellissima Serapia, coppia di giovani amanti che il vescovo Valentino unì in matrimonio contro ogni ostacolo e difficoltà, sancendo così il suo ruolo di Protettore degli innamorati.</p> <p>Come ogni anno febbraio è così il mese dell'amore a Terni, grazie alle tantissime iniziative&nbsp;in onore del santo patrono della città.</p> <p>Tra gli appuntamenti fissi: la "<strong>Festa della Promessa</strong>" per tutti i fidanzati che si sposano nel 2017 (il 12 febbraio), le cerimonie per i 25 e 50 anni di matrimonio (rispettivamente il 19 e il 26 febbraio), l'immancabile <strong>Maratona di San Valentino</strong> (il 19 febbraio) e l'attesissimo "<strong>Cioccolentino</strong>" (dal 10 al 14 febbraio).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Per il programma completo, clicca <a href="/documents/20126/458423/documento211/9081054c-1e75-46dc-ece8-ffe0359dac88">qui</a>.</p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.marmore.it/">http://www.marmore.it/</a></p> <br>
