<p>91 years after the first of the 24 speed issues, which took place from 1927 to 1957, as well as of the three issues in the Rally version held from 1959 to 1961, the 36^th re-enactment of the <strong>Mille Miglia</strong>&nbsp;will start on Wednesday 16 May 2018.</p><p></p> <br> <p>The Mille Miglia, as it has been since 2016, will be divided in 4 stages taking place in just as many days but as important innovation of 2018 the run – instead of Thursday – will start a day before, on Wednesday 16, and will return in Viale Venezia in the afternoon of Saturday 19^th May. A little later, the award ceremony of the competition’s winner, taking place on the stage of Piazza della Loggia, will give the green light to the Long Night of the Thousand Miles.</p> <p>The event will be in Umbria on Thursday 17^th May, for its second stage, and will cross Orvieto, Amelia and their territories.</p> <p>Four travelling days through the most beautiful parts of Italy: landscapes in the traditional race’s sites and long-awaited returns.</p> <p><strong>For further information:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.1000miglia.it/">http://www.1000miglia.it/</a></p> <br> <p>Novantuno anni dopo la prima delle ventiquattro edizioni di velocità, disputate dal 1927 al 1957, e delle tre con la formula dei rally dal 1959 al 1961, mercoledì 16 maggio 2018 prenderà il via la trentaseiesima rievocazione della <strong>Mille Miglia</strong>.</p><p></p> <br> <p>Come avviene dal 2016, la Mille Miglia sarà disputata in quattro tappe per altrettante giornate ma, importante novità del 2018, la corsa - anziché il giovedì - prenderà il via un giorno prima, mercoledì 16, e tornerà in Viale Venezia nel pomeriggio di sabato 19 maggio.
