<p>The 16th edition of “<strong>Gubbio No Borders Festival</strong>” is returning from the 16th to the 23rd August, with ten days rich in appointments.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>Five will be the events devoted to jazz among music and cinema, in line with the tradition of the past festival’s editions: from the classical jazz, to the dreamlike world of American musicals, from swing to pop, blues, until the sonorities of the 70s.</p><p></p> <p>On the 16th August the festival will be opened by the Italian drummer Lorenzo Tucci, together with Max Ionata (sax) e Luca Mannutza (Hammond organ).</p> <p>On the 18th August the festival will continue with the screening of the Michele Cinque’s movie "SICILY JASS" - the story of an emigrant who has done extremely well with jazz, whereas on the 19th August it will be the turn of the author blues with Maurizio Pugno &amp; the Gionni Grasso Band.</p> <p>At the former St. Peter refectory The Dixie's brothers band is going to perform on the 21st August and the “Paolo Ghetti Melody Quartet” on the 23rd August.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>For further information:</strong></p> <p>On Facebook: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/gubbionoborders/">Gubbio No Borders</a></p> <br> <p>Dal 16 al 23 agosto torna con la sua XVI edizione il "<strong>Gubbio No Borders Festival</strong>", con una dieci giorni ricca di appuntamenti.</p> <br> <p>Cinque gli eventi dedicati al jazz tra musica e cinema, riprendendo la tradizione delle passate edizioni della kermesse: dal jazz classico, al mondo sognante dei musical americani, dallo swing, al pop, al blues, fino alle sonorità degli anni settanta.</p><p></p> <p>Il 16 agosto ad aprire la manifestazione sarà il batterista italiano Lorenzo Tucci, insieme a Max Ionata (sax) e Luca Mannutza (organo Hammond).</p> <p>Si prosegue il 18 agosto con la proiezione del film di Michele Cinque "SICILY JASS" - storia di un emigrato che sbancò con il jazz, mentre il 19 agosto sarà la volta del blues d'autore con Maurizio Pugno &amp; Gionni Grasso Band.</p> <p>Il 21 agosto all'ex refettorio di San Pietro si esibirà la Dixie's brothers band e, in chiusura, il 23 agosto, la "Paolo Ghetti Melody Quartet".</p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni:</strong></p> <p>Su Facebook: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/gubbionoborders/">Gubbio No Borders</a></p> <br>
