<p>Oltrefestival is the music that moves, that doesn’t stop, that transcends the fences of genres and cultures, the music going “beyond”. After its significant popularity among the public obtained in the previous editions, the festival will come back with a calendar of two extremely interesting appointments.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>The first date will be on Monday 7^th August, with Sara Marini&nbsp; and the project DJELEM DO MAR, born from an idea of her together with Fabia Salvucci: a journey through different musical styles which mix Rom and Yiddish sonorities, Greek, Basque, Arabic and Flamenco melodies, as well as traditional music from the central and southern Italy.</p><p></p> <p>It’s a tribute not only to the Mediterranean Sea with its contradictions, its fascination and its multiple cultures: it’s an itinerary featuring as a two-voices re-reading work in counterpoint with the popular music.</p> The second appointment will be on Thursday 10 ^th August, with Marina Rei and her 2017 Unplugged Tour. The songwriter, by alternating among guitar, drums and piano, will perform her pieces in an unusual way and will be accompanied by the cellist Mattia Boschi. Alternandosi tra chitarra, batteria e pianoforte, la cantautrice interpreterà i suoi brani in una veste insolita e sarà accompagnata dal violoncellista Mattia Boschi.
