<p>Ci sono le luci artificiali e quelle naturali, dei fuochi. I “<strong>focaracci</strong>” o “<strong>Fuochi della Venuta</strong>”, nella Valnerina, sono un momento di grande suggestione per celebrare la Traslazione della Santa Casa della Vergine di Nazareth nel 1294, quando i musulmani occuparono la città e gli angeli, secondo la tradizione locale, rimossero dal suolo la costruzione e la trasferirono in volo fino a Recanati.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>Da allora i fuochi sono accesi ogni anno per rischiarare le tenebre ed illuminare il cammino degli angeli, in quasi tutti i comuni.</p><br> Particolarmente suggestivo il Focone di Monteleone che si svolge nella piazza medievale del paese il 9 dicembre in occasione del&nbsp;rituale del " <a>Farro di S. Nicola</a>" nella vigilia della ricorrenza del Santo, patrono del paese, per ricordare il miracolo che la tradizione attribuisce a S. Nicola che, passando per Monteleone ed impressionato dalla indigenza dei suoi abitanti, avrebbe consegnato il farro per sfamare i poveri. La permanenza di questo singolare rituale ha favorito la continuità della sua coltura a Monteleone, tanto da diventare un tratto caratterizzante di questo territorio. <p></p> <p>Grandi falò illuminano anche Norcia con la “Festa delle Campane”, uno degli appuntamenti di punta del nursino.<br> A mezzanotte tutte le campane della città si muovono ad annunciare il passaggio della Santa casa della Madonna di Loreto.</p> <p>A Cascia, dall'8 dicembre 2017 al 21 gennaio 2018, torna "Dal Falò alle Pasquarelle", all'interno della tradizionale manifestazione sono comprese anche la 14esima Rassegna dei Presepi, il Focone della Venuta del 9 dicembre, i presepi viventi e infine l'evento "Tradizione che Passione", che si svolgerà dal 19 al 21 gennaio, data in cui si terrà la 42esima Rassegna Interregionale delle Pasquarelle.</p> <p>Tradizioni, folklore, dunque, ma anche musica ed enogastromia.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.lavalnerina.it/">http://www.lavalnerina.it/</a></p> <br> <p>There are the artificial and natural lights, such as the fires. The “<strong>Focaracci</strong>” or “<strong>Fuochi della Venuta</strong>” in the Valnerina are a moment of high inspiration to celebrate the Transfer of the Lady of Nazareth’s Holy House in 1294, when Muslims occupied the town and angels, according to the local tradition, removed the building from the ground and moved it flying to Recanati.&nbsp;</p> <br> <p>Since then fires have been lighted every year to illuminate the darkness and the angels’ path, in almost all municipalities.</p><p></p> <p>Particularly inspiring is the Focone of Monteleone that takes place in the medieval square of the village on the 9th December on the occasion of the ritual of the “"<a>Farro di S. Nicola</a>" (Nicola is the patron saint of the village) on the Saint’s anniversary’s Eve in order to recall the miracle attributed by the tradition to St. Nicola who, when he passed by Monteleone, would have been impressed with the poverty of its inhabitants and would have given the spelt to the poor people in order to feed them. The permanence of this unusual ritual encouraged the continuity of the spelt’s cultivation in Monteleone, so to become a distinctive mark of this territory.</p> <p>Big bonfires will also light Norcia with the “Bells’ Festival”, one of the top appointments of the area.</p> <p>At midnight all bells of the town are going to ring to announce the passage of the Holy House of the Loreto’s Lady.</p> <p>Cascia will host again, from 8 December 2017 to 21 January 2018, “From the Bonfire to the Pasquarelle”, a traditional event also including the 14th Cribs’ Festival, the Big Fire of the Arrival on the 9th December, the living cribs and lastly the event “Tradition, what for a passion!” that is going to take place from the 19th to the 21st January, the same date when the 42nd Interregional Festival of the Pasquarelle will take place.</p> <p>The celebration will therefore include traditions, folklore, but also music, food and wine.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>For further information:</strong></p> <p><a href="http://www.lavalnerina.it/">http://www.lavalnerina.it/</a></p> <br>
