<strong>Dal 4 al 27 ottobre a Trevi, un mese ricco d’iniziative, a partire dal Palio dei Terzieri.</strong> <br> <p>Per tutto il mese di ottobre, <a href="https://www.umbriatourism.it/it_IT/-/trevi"><strong>Trevi </strong></a>ospita i tanti appuntamenti dell’<strong>Ottobre Trevano</strong>.&nbsp; Si inizia il<strong> 4 ottobre </strong>con l’apertura delle Taverne e il <strong>Convivium dei Terzieri</strong> e si prosegue per i restanti trenta giorni con rievocazioni storiche, rassegne cinematografiche, concerti, mercati e spettacoli teatrali.</p><br> Alla vigilia del Palio, un fastoso <strong>Corteo </strong>di oltre <strong>cinquecento figuranti in costume medievale</strong> si snoda per le vie cittadine illuminate da torce e addobbate con bandiere, stendardi e gonfaloni, in una suggestiva ambientazione medievale. Avvincente per tutto il popolo Trevano è il sorteggio, con la speranza che la dea bendata porti a ogni Terziere la classifica di partenza auspicata. Fanno da cornice alla serata musiche, danze e spettacoli medievali che danno inizio all’attesa corsa e si concluderà con la vincita del Palio e l’assegnazione del titolo di “Anteposto” al Console del Terziere vincitore. <br> <strong>Domenica 6 ottobre</strong> andrà in scena la <strong>XXXIX edizione</strong> del <strong>Palio dei Terzieri</strong> che rievoca la tenacia e l’ardore con cui i giovani trevani fecero riemergere la loro città dalla distruzione avvenuta nel 1214 da parte degli spoletini per volontà del <strong>Duca Theopoldo</strong>. Gareggiano, per ogni Terziere, venti giovani “Portacolori” che si alternano, in più staffette, nell’ardua e avvincente corsa, durante la quale uno traina e gli altri spingono con tutte le forze il carro. Tra un cambio e l’altro non c’è tregua: dopo il passaggio del testimone si deve continuare a correre per raggiungere la Piazza entro due minuti dal tocco della campana del bàlio. Vince il Terziere che ha impiegato minor tempo e commesso meno irregolarità. <br> Tra le tante iniziative in calendario, da non perdere la <strong>Mostra Mercato del <a href="https://www.umbriatourism.it/it_IT/-/sedano-nero-di-trevi">Sedano Nero</a> di Trevi</strong>, in programma il 19 e il 20 ottobre. <p></p> <p><strong>Per maggiori informazioni</strong>:<br> <a href="https://www.terzieri.it/">http://www.terzieri.com</a></p> <strong>In Trevi, starting with the Palio dei Terzieri, a month full of initiatives from 4 to 27 October.</strong> <br> <p>Throughout the month of October, <a href="https://www.umbriatourism.it/en_US/-/trevi"><strong>Trevi</strong></a> hosts the many events of “<strong>Ottobre Trevano</strong>”. It starts on<strong> October 4th</strong> with the opening of the Taverns and the <strong>Convivium of Terzieri</strong> (the town’s districts), continuing for 30 days with historical re-enactments, film festivals, concerts, markets and theatrical performances.<br> On the eve of the Palio, in a suggestive medieval setting, a sumptuous <strong>parade </strong>of over <strong>five hundred people in medieval costume</strong> winds through the city streets lit by torches and decorated with flags and banners.</p>The draw is a very exciting moment for all Trevani (the local people); their hope is that the Lady Luck will bring the desired start list to Terzieri. <br> The evening is accompanied by medieval music, dances and shows who get the awaited race started. The competition ends with the winning of the Palio and the awarding of the title of "Anteposto" to the winning Terziere Consul. <br> The <strong>XXXIX edition</strong> of the <strong>Palio dei Terzieri </strong>will be staged on <strong>Sunday 6 October</strong>. It evokes the tenacity and ardor of the young Trevani while they were making their city re-emerge from the destruction that took place in 1214, at the hands of the people of Spoleto by the will of the <strong>Duke Theopoldo</strong>. <br> Alternating in more relays, in the arduous and thrilling race during which one pull and the others push the cart with all their strength, twenty young "Portacolori" compete for every Terziere. Between one change and the other there is no respite: after the passing of the baton, competitors must continue to run to reach the Piazza within two minutes from the touch of the bell of “bàlio”.
