<p>Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary presents Millennium Worm, a solo exhibition by the artist Petr Davydtchenko that is opening in Trevi, on March 16, 2019.</p> <br> <p>For the exhibition Davydtchenko will present a preview of a multimedia installation specifically designed for the occasion, the first of its kind since he has begun to live exclusively on a diet of animals found dead killed along the way.</p> <p>Influenced by the destructive advance produced by the economic collapse after 2008, Davydtchenko has lived on the edge of the global economic system, completely "off the net" and politically unaligned.</p>To challenge the hysteria of the metropolis, Davydtchenko moved from London to Maubourguet, a post-industrial village in southern France, in 2015. <p></p> <p>The artist has structured his life like a "virus", exploiting the agricultural ecosystem as a parasite dependent on his waste would do. Through his practice, Davydtchenko translates the latest economic model into a new form of existence, like a bridge between art and life.</p> <p>During the exhibition, the artist will stay at Palazzo Lucarini, continuing his usual lifestyle. He will, in fact, build his own environment with found or traded materials. L'artista ha strutturato la sua vita come un "virus", sfruttando l'ecosistema agricolo come farebbe un parassita dipendente dai suoi rifiuti. Attraverso la sua pratica, Davydtchenko traduce il più recente modello economico in una nuova forma di esistenza, come un ponte fra arte e vita. <p></p> <p>Durante la mostra, l'artista soggiornerà a Palazzo Lucarini, continuando con il suo consueto stile di vita. Egli, infatti, costruirà il proprio ambiente con materiali trovati o barattati.
